Entertainment Weekly Cover
This is the cover I designed for the magazine photoshop project. It contains 35 photo layers and two text layers. I got the idea to do this for my cover mainly because I just love movies. So, I went and found some of my favorite movie characters on Google images and cut them out using the mainly the Quick Selection Tool, and the Magnetic Lasso Tool. I really enjoyed doing this process because I had a fun time doing it and I think that my project turned out really well. I had never done photoshop before, and I'm glad that I got to do this. I would definitely enjoy doing more photoshop projects in the future because they are very fun to do, and I think that this turned out really well. Once I got the hang of how to use the tools it became very easy to do, but it sometimes got to be a pain to cut out tiny pieces of each picture because they either wouldn't cut the right way, or they'd cut too much, or not enough at a time, and it could get frustrating, but it wasn't a big deal and the more I did of it, the easier it got. As for the selection of characters in general, I just looked back at my favorite movies both classic and recent and picked my favorite characters from each of them, which is how Malcolm Reynolds from Serenity, Kick Ass, and Harry Potter worked their way on here. But hey, it’s my project right? What’s the fun in doing this if I’m not gonna do what I want with it?

Forever Lost
In my opinion, Lost is the greatest television show of all time, and to share this, I decided to edit together a tribute of the entire series. The music in the background is score from the series composed by Michael Giacchino, it's a medley of the best tracks that he composed over the 6 year run of the series, and every time the music changes up in the video, so do the clips that play because each track of music represents a theme or character from the show, like mystery, death, or John Locke. Anyway this was about 2 weeks of editing and I hope you enjoy it.

Breaking Bad Inception
This is my first attempt at editing video into a trailer. For this I used clips from the television series Breaking Bad, and used music from the trailer for the movie Inception (Mind Heist, By Zack Hemsey). It's a very good show and I hope this video will sway you to watch it.

Post Numero Uno
Personally, I'm anticipating this to be a very fun class that teaches me things that I didn't know about how to edit video. I have a bit of experience in multimedia in two fields, Video Editing and Podcasting. There are a couple video edits which I have made already that I will be posting on to this Blog at some point. My podcasting experience is minor, it's something, but it's minor. Although I have podcasted for very long hours with people on certain subjects to the point where it's a bit insane, but I digress. I think this class will really help me with my video editing abilities and help me to be able to make short films which I'm hoping to make, and I'd also love to contribute video projects to WEXP, and to the LSCHS Website and Community. I'm sure this is going to be a great class that I'm going to really enjoy.
